'Library of Things' Available Now With More New Offerings

With the recent launch of the Library of Things, the Hudson Public Library now has even more to offer! Recent additions to the collection of non-traditional items include sporting equipment such as a football, basketball, soccer ball, and pickleball rackets and balls, in addition to the many disc golf discs that are catalogued and ready to check out.

We would like to add some scrapbooking and card making tools to have available for use in the library or to check out. Before purchasing core items we are seeking donations of shape punches, cutters, ink stamps, and special scissors, or any other paper craft tools you may no longer use. Later this year library volunteers will offer introductory classes for scrap booking and card making for all ages.

The Library of Things collection, sponsored by the Hudson Public Library Foundation, is intended to help patrons have access to items needed only occasionally or to explore a new hobby or sport. For more information on the collection, as well as additional library programming and initiatives, visit the Library at 401 5th St. or call us at 319-988-4217.
